There are many things that a father
wants for their child to come true
and try their best they do

but really they don’t know
that when their child’s grown
their hopes will really become truth
… become truth

dive with your heart into the world around you
seek to know its balance and harmony
and in the midst of nature’s subtle patterns
find its purpose, direction, and destiny

know that nothing can live alone or apart
we are all interdependent from the start
living for yourself never makes any sense
living is giving from the servant heart

Chorus
but one hope is greater then all other hopes
and with this hope comes my heart’s cry prayer
that you welcome Christ into your life forever
and forever let him change your life from then
and forever he’ll change your life from then

I remember at one point in my lifetime
I was so lonely, so sad, and alone
but in the midst of day I felt Him very near
my pain and my tears he shared from then

looking back into my work and my career
the success I have achieved within few years
would cost a divorce and my soul if not
for His direction, His work in me, His grace

but beyond belief I realized…
He has always been… always there for me

Chorus
but one hope is greater then all other hopes
there is nothing greater I desire, want, or ask
that you welcome Christ into your life forever
and forever you will give your life to him

you can go through life and still…
life is just a shade until…

you are lost… in peaceful presence… of… the… Lord…
